HOW DOES THE KITZ AIR PURIFIER WORK?
The Kitz Air Purifier is a revolutionary product that draws in and treats contaminated air with the highly concentrated Kitz Botanical Solution.
It draws air in using a high-speed motor running at ±3000 rotations per minute.
It rotates so fast that it creates a cyclonic or tornado-like movement.
This powerful motor draws air into the water and then jets the treated air out with the Kitz botanical extract solution at a high speed.
As a result, an air-scrubbing effect is produced.
Cleaning Your Kitz Air Purifier

- Be sure to fully unplug the unit by the plug point.
- Lift the Leaf/Rainbow top off the bowl.
- Tilt the Leaf/Rainbow top on its side so you can hold the base of the fan,
then with the other hand remove the funnel by turning it anti-clockwise.
- The inside of the funnel should be cleaned twice a week to maintain a hygienic Air Purifier.
- Clean with a brush and cold water only.
- Clip the funnel back onto the fan base.
- Clean the bowl regularly. Only use cold water.
- Use fresh cold alkaline filtered water regularly and add our Kitz Botanical Solutions.
- Put the Leaf/Rainbow top back on the bowl.
- Plug the unit in by the main plug point, and switch the unit back on.
You will notice that there is a small rubber nozzle at the tip of the funnel of the Kitz Air Purifier. This nozzle acts as a silencer and may be removed if so desired.
If you decide to remove this nozzle tip, we suggest you put it in a safe place just in case you decide to use it in the future.
Frequently Asked Questions
- I want to order an air purifier. Why do I need to order botanical solutions as well?
Yes, you would need to order a botanical solution. The Kitz Botanical solutions contain anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties which are responsible for eliminating up to 99 % of airborne viruses.
When not using any solution then the unit will just be drawing air in and no purification process will be taking place, and the water will trap contaminants while the air passes through the unit, however, the water then becomes a breeding area for bacteria.
- How often must the bowl and funnel be cleaned?
Twice a week. Click on the "Cleaning the Air Purifier" page to view a short video clip on how to clean the bowl and the inside of the grey funnel.
- Can I clean the bowl with hot water or place it in my dishwasher?
NO. Any Hot water will damage the water bowl.
Do not place the water bowl in the dishwasher as it will ruin the water bowl.
Only use cold tap water to clean the water bowl
